T-Coil Induction Loops
WHAT IS AN INDUCTION LOOP SYSTEM?
A induction loop system is a loop amplifier that drives an audio current through a wire that generates a magnetic field within the designed loop that will allow hearing aids with "T" and or "MT" coil mode to listen inductively to the amplified sound without the interference of background noise.
WHAT MAKES THE INDUCTION LOOP SYSTEM A GREAT SOLUTION?
Hearing aids with a tele-coil (T-coil) do not need an additional receiver or headset as the hearing loop uses the built-in receiver (T-coil) found in the hearing aid to transmit the amplified sound. The sound is delivered directly to the hearing aid that in most cases has been customized for an individuals hering loss thus providing a truly personalized listening experience that is free from troublesome background noise that would otherwise be a distraction.
The use of a T-coil provides many wonderful benefits as it is inconspicuous, eliminating the need to tell everyone about their hearing loss. There is no need to worry about hygienic concerns as your hearing aids are yours and not a borrowed neck loop or headset. They allow you to sit wherever you like within the looped area.
A hearing loop system that is installed to IEC standard 60118-4 provides a loop system that everyone can enjoy! The system is pracatical, cost effective, always active and requires little maintenace to operate.
